The beach at Cala’n Porter is a large horseshoe shaped expanse of golden sand, gently shelving into warm safe waters, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Access to the beach from the cliff top is either down a steep flight of almost 200 steps, or down a long winding road, but once reached, the beach provides a perfect base for the entire day, with the sandy cove protected by the cliffs - creating a wonderful sun trap. There are bars and restaurants on the beach, as well as parking, and sunbeds, umbrellas and pedalos can be hired.

Cala’n Porter is one of the more lively resorts on Menorca, catering to the British crowd with English pubs, restaurants and supermarkets. The entertainment is mainly hotel-based, but Cala’n Porter is home to the most famous nightclub on the island, the impressive Caves of Xoroi, a series of natural caves set deep into the cliff face, which by night is turned into a unique club with a dance floor overlooking the sea.
